Prayer Emphasis:

This week - remember the Moore County School Students as they are taking finals for the Fall Semester.

Missions Announcement:

We will be stepping back from the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes as a church wide mission. We will still provide the shoeboxes and delivery of the completed boxes in November. Instead of doing the shoeboxes as a whole we will take up an offering (month to be determined) to buy a well or something similar through the Samaritan's Purse organization.

We are going to focus on the Backpacks that go to our local mountain area (year long) and Sandhills Student Assistance (Matthew 25:40) (year long). We are going to also be collecting Lifecare Pregnancy in Carthage (March & April) and Friend to Friend in Carthage (June & July).

Updated Missions collection calendar are available on the front pew.

Appalachian Christmas Outreach (Backpack Mission):

The January collection items: Winter Hats, Scarves, Gloves & Socks.

Matthew 25:40 - Sandhills Student Assistance:

We will continue collecting protein bars, breakfast bars, crackers, etc and financial contributions are accepted as well. The collection boxes are on the right side of sanctuary. Gerald Monroe will collect the contributions and meet the director with our donations.

Calendars:

Updated corrected sheets have been released and can be found on front pew. Calendars are completed and can be found on the front pew.

Flowers:

If you would like to put flowers in the church please let Lori Kirk or Deanna Barber know.

Bulletin Announcements

Any annoucements for the bulletin needs to be given to Donna Kirk by Thursday evening.
